The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce’s 22nd Annual Business Expo is scheduled for Thursday, March 27, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Monterey Station, 104 Monterey St., Cowan.

A $5 admission fee provides attendees with an opportunity to shop and network with more than 90 exhibitors and local professionals of Franklin County’s business community as well as an opportunity to win more than 100 door prizes and the grand door prize, a Charbroil Grill donated by The Home Depot. Children 12 and under will be admitted free.

Chamber Executive Director, Judy Taylor, summed up the event’s significance.

“Now in its 22nd successful year, the Business Expo and Marketplace has grown to represent the variety of products and services offered by Franklin County of Chamber members representing industries, businesses and companies from the area. Each year, as the event grows, one of the best benefits is that we have created a forum for our members for a productive evening of meeting new contacts.”

Co-chair of the Expo, B.J. Rigsby, echoed Taylor’s sentiments.

“Franklin County Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo provides a marketplace for the public and networking opportunities for our business community,” he said. “This event provides an open feeling on the exhibitor floor, with conversational areas for casual one-on-one discussions with existing contacts and building new relationships.”

Chairman Sam Henley, Henley Supply Millwork and chairman of the 22nd Annual Business Expo, said the event is a good way to attract new businesses and industry.

“Our family business has participated and attended the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo every year since the beginning and each year we gain new prospects, as well as new friends in the business community,” Henley said.
