BRUCE, Barbara Elaine, age 68 of Manchester, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at her home in Manchester, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Bruce was born in Manchester, the daughter of the late Harley and Orphia Naoma Cooper Freeze. She was a member of the New Union Church of Christ and was formerly a seamstress and then a bookkeeper at Garner’s Furniture in Manchester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Eugene Bruce; a brother, Eugene Freeze; a sister-in-law, Helen Freeze; and brother-in-law, Allen Vaughn “Buddy” Bruce. Mrs. Bruce is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Scott) Gipson of Decherd; her son, James (Amy) Bruce of Manchester; a sister, Fay (Howard) Leonard of Christiana; six brothers, Billy (Patty) Freeze, Doug (Jeannie) Freeze, Ray (Bobbi Jo) Freeze, Boyd Freeze, Ronnie (Dorothy) Freeze, and Donnie (Kathy) Freeze, all of Manchester; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Opal Bruce of Manchester and Elbert and Phyllis Bruce of the Shady Grove Community; sister-in-law, Delores Freeze of Manchester; four grandchildren, Benjamin Roland Bruce, Blake Eugene Bruce, Brian Edward Bruce and Anna Gipson; 20 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation with the Bruce family was held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Manchester Funeral Home. FORSYTHE, Rosemary Frances, age 76 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at her residence. She was an avid reader who also loved sewing, movies, gardening, yard work and riding motorcycles. Preceding her in death were her parents, Raymond and Myrtle Carpenter and her father and mother-in-law, William and Frances Forsythe. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Michael Forsythe of Winchester; son, Mark Rich of Joliet, Ill.; daughter, Sandra (Dave) Johnson of South Haven, Mich.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 5 p.m. at the Liberty Baptist Church on Liberty Road in Winchester with Bro. Timothy Forsythe, Sr. officiating.

BINGHAM, John “John Boy,” age 41, of Tullahoma, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Heritage Medical Center in Shelbyville.
A native of Bedford County, he was the son of Mary Alice Brown Bingham of Tullahoma and the late John Bingham. “John Boy” enjoyed buying and selling at local flea markets. He also enjoyed fishing and music, but most of all he loved his family and friends. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Chad Bingham and Mitchel Brothers, both of Shelbyville; a brother, Steve Bingham and his wife Kim of Shelbyville; and a sister, Marsha Underwood and her husband John of Shelbyville. Visitation with the family was held on Thursday, April 3, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 4, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Hazel Cemetery in Bell Buckle. ANDERSON, Danilo D., age 60 of Tullahoma, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at St. Thomas West in Nashville. A native of the Philippines, he was the son of the late William and Ampiro Dedacatoria Anderson. He had worked for the City of Tullahoma Street Department. He enjoyed fishing and listening to the radio. In addition, he enjoyed watching the “Price is Right” and old western movies. He is survived by two daughters, Christina Hagan and her husband, Michael of Mt. Juliet and Danita Powell and her husband, Christopher of Shelbyville and two granddaughters, Kylie Hagan and Jaicie Powell. No services are scheduled at this time.
