Easter egg hunts set for this weekend
The Easter Bunny will be hiding oodles of eggs for children to find during the following egg hunts scheduled in Decherd and at Tims Ford State Park.
Meeting Someone Special Before Big Egg Hunt

The City of Decherd recreation department invites all children to a huge Easter egg hunt Saturday at 1 p.m. at John L. Sanders Memorial Park. Easter Bunny will hop in and prizes will be awarded.
Tims Ford State Park will host an Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the recreation hall, 570 Tims Ford Drive. Bring the entire family to enjoy crafts and games, a park-wide scavenger hunt, and an egg hunt with great prizes that include gift baskets and stuffed animals. No child will leave without a small prize.
In the first hour, participants will have the option of doing Easter crafts and activities or going on a park-wide scavenger hunt for the whole family. The scavenger hunt starts at 2 p.m.
The Easter egg hunt starts at 3 p.m. and is for children with age groups through age 12. A drawing will be held for one lucky winner to receive the grand door prize of a half-day (four-hour) weekday pontoon rental. Easter eggs, ice cream certifi cates and other prizes are provided compliments of Lakeview Marina in Tims Ford State Park.
