The Franklin County Business Development Center is partnering with Southern Middle Tennessee Entrepreneur Centers to offer a free one-day “TennesSeed Camp” at the Franklin County Business Development Center on Thursday.

The camp is designed to provide potential entrepreneurs with a foundation on how to transform and idea into an “investable story” and to assist start-up companies in finding seed funding and resources necessary for success.

seedFranklin County Mayor Richard Stewart and the Industrial Development Board are excited to bring this event to Franklin County and hope to host others like it in the future.

Stewart said that the TennesSeed Camp program can help entrepreneurs and business owners take opportunity to the next level.

“The goal is to create jobs and economic growth at the community level by connecting our promising startups to the resources they need,” Stewart said.

Entrepreneurs, companies looking to grow, and individuals who have an idea for a new business are encouraged to attend the free event.
