      TO THE EDITOR: I was pleased to read in your Oct. 28 edition that the Winchester Speedway had closed for the season. Too bad the season hasn’t just begun. That way, we could enjoy Saturday evenings with our friends on the patio without being driven indoors by the deafening roar of racers.
