Franklin County basketball teams split Smyrna doubleheader with girls win, boys loss

The boys and girls basketball teams of Franklin County High School hosted the teams of Smyrna High School at home Tuesday with the girls picking up a win while the boys took a loss.
 
The Rebelettes dominated their game from beginning to end as the Bulldogs were no match for them in an 82-32 win. With the victory, the Rebelettes improved to 3-1 on the season.
 
The Rebels did not have as much success on the day as they trailed by 18 points at halftime and went on to fall 60-39. With the loss, the Rebels moved to 1-3 on the season.

Both teams will next play Friday at home against Shelbyville Central High School. Tip-off for the first game is scheduled for 6 p.m.
