The Franklin County High School boys and girls basketball teams hosted the teams of Shelbyville Central High School Friday with Shelbyville taking both games.
The Rebelettes played a competitive game against the Golden Eaglettes, but were not able to pull out a win in the 51-46 loss. With the loss, the Rebelettes moved to 3-3 on the season.
The Rebels also played a close game most of the way, but the Golden Eagles pulled away in the fourth quarter to give them a 46-36 loss. With the loss, the Rebels moved to 1-5 on the season.

Both teams will next play Tuesday at Giles County High School. Tip-off for the first game is scheduled for 6 p.m.
