The Franklin County Major League team fell to Spring Hill 6-5 Monday to be eliminated from their district tournament.
The game went back and forth for most of the day with Franklin County scoring two of their runs off of solo home runs by Jaden Taylor and Mook Taylor early in the game.
Spring Hill held a 5-2 lead entering the final inning before Franklin County rallied to tie the game up with a series of hits, capped off by an RBI single by Gavin Sells to tie it up at 5-5.
However, Spring Hill would go on to push across the winning run in the bottom of the sixth to end the game.
With the loss, the Franklin County team was eliminated from the district tournament.
