The Huntland Hornets beat the Whitwell High School Tigers 59-51 Saturday to finish seventh in the Whitwell Christmas Tournament.
The Tigers controlled the first half of the game and slowed down the offense of the Hornets who trailed 23-18 at halftime.
However, the Hornets caught fire on offense in the fourth quarter with 26 points in the period to take the lead and win by eight.
With the win, the Hornets improved to 3-12 on the season.

The Hornets will next play Friday at Eagleville High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
