The Huntland Hornets fell to the Middle Tennessee Christian School Cougars 3-0 on the road Wednesday for their 17th loss of the season.
The game was a pitcher’s duel throughout with both teams scoreless until the Cougars pushed three runs across in the sixth inning.
With the loss, the Hornets fell to 6-17 on the season.

The Hornets will next play Thursday against DeKalb County High School at Cascade High School as part of the Walking Horse Classic. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
