The boys and girls of Huntland High School traveled to play the teams of Marshall County High School Friday with the girls winning and the boys losing.
The Lady Hornets played a close game against the Tigerettes all night and were able to hold on to a narrow lead in the fourth quarter to win 46-43. With the win, they improved to 5-4 on the season.
The Hornets kept their game close in the first half, but they were outshot in the second half as the Tigers pulled away and handed them a 78-54 loss. With the loss, the Hornets moved to 1-8 on the season.

Both teams will next play Tuesday at Richland High School. Tip-off for the first game is scheduled for 6 p.m.
