Huntland basketball teams sweep doubleheader versus Whitwell

The Huntland High School boys and girls basketball teams hosted the teams of Whitwell High School Tuesday with both picking up a win.
 
The Lady Hornets dominated the Lady Tigers as they outscored them by 19 points in the second half alone to win by 29. With the win, they improved to 4-4 on the season.
 
The Hornets put together one of their best defensive performances of the season so far to win 46-33 for their first victory of the season. With the win, they improved to 1-7 on the season.

Both teams will next play Friday at Marshall County High School. Tip-off for the first game is scheduled for 6 p.m.
