ICE announces 18 new 287(g) agreements in Texas

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) formally announced the signing of 18 new 287(g) agreements throughout the state of Texas at an event attended by Acting ICE Director Tom Homan and sheriffs from each of the 18 counties.

Los Angeles-area man sentenced to 17 years in federal prison for enticing girl to take pictures while engaged in sexually explicit acts

A Murrieta man, Curtis Audun Larssen, 33, identified during a probe by ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) has been sentenced to 17 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to enticing a Seattle girl to engage in sexually explicit activity that resulted in the production of child pornography. Bogus clinic operators charged in scheme to divert massive amounts of prescription narcotics to the black market

The operators of seven sham medical clinics were among 12 defendants taken into custody on federal drug trafficking charges alleging they diverted at least two million prescription pills, including oxycodone and other addictive and dangerous narcotics, to the black market.

The arrests and indictments are the product of a probe by ICE HSI, the Drug Enforcement Administration, IRS Criminal Investigation, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services – Office of Inspector General and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, Pharmaceutical Crimes Unit. Full Story
