The Huntland High School Hornets beat the LEAD Academy Lady Panthers 70-26 at home Friday in the quarterfinals of their regional tournament.
The Lady Hornets established control of the game early on as they dominated the first half and led 41-12 at halftime.
The blowout continued in the second half as the Lady Hornets cruised to a 44-point victory to advance to the next round.
With the win, the Lady Hornets improved to 18-12 on the season.

The Lady Hornets will next play Monday in the semifinals of their regional tournament against either Cornersville High School or Grace Christian Academy at Eagleville High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
