The Huntland High School Lady Hornets fell to the rival Moore County High School Raiderettes 68-37 at Eagleville High School Wednesday in the finals of their regional tournament.
A 14-3 run by the Raiderettes early in the second quarter put the Lady Hornets in a decent hole and they trailed 32-18 at halftime.
The Lady Hornets were not able to cut into the deficit in the second half and the Raiderettes ran up the score in the fourth quarter to give them a 31-point loss.
With the loss, the Lady Hornets moved to 19-13 on the season.

The Lady Hornets will next play Saturday at Pickett County High School in a sub-state tournament game. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
