HADDON, Mary L. "Kitty," age 90 of Bassett, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. She was born on Aug. 23, 1919 in Sherwood, the daughter of the late James Andy Steele and Minnie Katherine Pack Steele. Mrs. Haddon was a member of the Fort Trial Baptist church and of the Truth Seekers Sunday school class. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haddon was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Haddon; daughter, Nancy Haddon; a sister; five brothers; and two great-grandsons.
