The Franklin County Rebelettes fell to the Shelbyville Central High School Golden Eaglettes 59-44 in the semifinals of their district tournament Saturday at Columbia Central High School.
The teams were evenly matched in the first half with the Rebelettes trailing by a slim 26-24 margin at halftime.
However, the Golden Eaglettes were able to pull away in the second half and give the Rebelettes a 15-point loss.
With the loss, the Rebelettes moved to 19-9 on the season.

The Rebelettes will next play Monday against Tullahoma High School in the third-place game for the tournament at Columbia Central. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
