Rebels beat Shelbyville in soccer shootout on the road

The Franklin County Rebels beat the Shelbyville Central High School Golden Eagles 4-3 on the road Thursday for their fifth win of the season.
The Rebels jumped out in front early and led 4-1 with 23 minutes to play. The Golden Eagles made a late push and nearly tied the game, but the Rebels held on for a win.
With the win, the Rebels improved to 5-2 on the season.

The Rebels will next play Tuesday at Lawrence County High School. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
