The Franklin County Rebels beat the Shelbyville Central High School Golden Eagles 35-32 at home Friday to end their season with an even .500 record.
The two teams went back and forth with their scoring in the first half as the Rebels got the last score and took a 21-20 lead into halftime.
The Rebels stayed ahead for the entire second half and their defense held strong on a final drive by the Golden Eagles to clinch the three-point victory.
With the win, the Rebels finished their campaign with a record of 5-5.
