The Franklin County Rebels stand with their district championship plaque after beating Tullahoma High School in the championship game Friday.
The Franklin County Rebels beat the rival Tullahoma High School 2-1 at home Friday to win their district championship for the first time since 2010.
The game was scoreless until John Michael Rampy knocked in the ball on a header four minutes into the second half. However, the Wildcats tied it up with 15 minutes remaining.
Jesus Roque gave the Rebels the lead for good with nine minutes remaining as they won the game and the tournament.
With the win, the Rebels improved to 11-3 on the season.

The Rebels will next play Tuesday at home against Oakland High School.
