Rebels varsity ties Gallatin in final preseason scrimmage

The Franklin County Rebels varsity, junior varsity and freshmen teams played the teams of Gallatin High School Friday in a multi-game scrimmage.
The Rebels came out ahead on the day as their freshmen and junior varsity teams won while the varsity game ended in a tie.
The varsity squads played to a 13-13 tie as both teams scored touchdowns in the final four minutes. The freshmen Rebels began the day with a convincing 13-0 win while the junior varsity Rebels won 8-0.

The Rebels varsity team will open their season Friday at home against Coffee County Central High School. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
