Turnovers cost Hornets in gridiron loss at Monterey

The Huntland Hornets fell to the Monterey High School Wildcats 21-8 on the road Friday to remain winless on the season.
The Hornets had five turnovers in the game which slowed their offense and opened the door for scores from the Wildcats.
The Hornets took an early 8-7 lead, but the Wildcats scored just before halftime to jump ahead and led the rest of the way.
With the loss, the Hornets moved to 0-3 on the season.

The Hornets will next play Friday at home against Jo Byrns High School. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
