Walk Across Tennessee, a statewide fitness effort, kicks off Monday (March 12) with several exciting local events to get folks moving toward a healthier lifestyle.
Walk Across Tennessee is a free, eight-week walking program for teams of eight people. It runs March 12 through May 7
The participating teams challenge each other to a friendly competition to see who can log the most miles either walking, jogging, biking, dancing or most any other type of physical activity.
