Counties circled in red have positive coronavirus cases 

The Tennessee Department of Health has announced that the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the state is up to 154.

This is an increase of more than 55 percent from the stated number of 99 reported at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

A majority of the cases are located in Davidson and Williamson counties with those two areas contributing 75 and 30 cases, respectively, at the time of writing. There are no confirmed cases in Franklin County at this time.

Situation Summary: In December 2019, Chinese health authorities identified an outbreak of pneumonia associated with a novel, or new, coronavirus which has resulted in thousands of confirmed cases in China.
