            I stopped after class to talk with my teacher, Coach Sam. I was going to the state wrestling tournament and would be missing a big quiz in my U.S. history class. I asked him if I could make it up when I returned or if he wanted me to take it before I left.

NASHVILLE --- The 2018 deer archery-only hunting season opens statewide in Tennessee on Saturday, Sept. 22. The archery season dates in all five of the state’s deer hunting units are the same. The dates are Sept. 22-Oct. 26 and Oct. 29-Nov. 2.

NASHVILLE ---  A preview of Tennessee’s 2019-20 proposed fishing proclamations, along with the announcement of the permit winners to participate in the 2018 elk hunt were announced at the August meeting of the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission.
