Cowan RR Museum annual meeting
The Cowan Railroad Museum will hold its 2023 annual membership meeting tonight at 6 p.m. at the Cowan Center for the Arts, 300 Montgomery St., Cowan. The Franklin County Democratic Party will hold a reorganization convention to elect new leaders on March 11 in the large meeting room of the Franklin County Annex, 839 Dinah Shore Blvd. in Winchester. All Democrats who are residents of and are registered voters in Franklin County are asked to attend to discuss the party’s agenda and events for 2023-2024. Franklin County preschool applications will be accepted April 4 from 1-5 p.m. at the school that parents wish their child to attend in the 2023-24 school year. The child must be 4 years old by Aug. 15 to apply. Bring a birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization record and current physical report, proof of residency (utility bill, rent receipt, etc.), and proof of income (2022 W-2’s or tax return preferred or last three consecutive pay stubs showing gross income or letter of food-stamp proof.)
