Art accepted for Covid Creations 2020 show

Community members of all ages are invited to show or perform their art in an exhibition called Covid Creations 2020 at the Artisan Depot Gallery in Cowan. Intake for the exhibition is June 4-7 from noon to 5 p.m. An open house and artist reception will be held June 19 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Artisan Depot Gallery. Blood drive

As the coronavirus outbreak continues to spread in the U.S., Blood Assurance needs the public to schedule and keep donation appointments to ensure the continued adequacy of the blood supply. Please visit a donor center and continue to give blood during this pandemic crisis. Blood Assurance will give away an Echo Dot every week to one randomly chosen donor. All donors over the age of 18 are eligible to win. Blood Assurance is located at 652 N. Jackson St., Tullahoma. 931-461-5773.

Swiss Heritage Festival

Celebrate the 151st anniversary of the founding of the Swiss colony of Gruetli in Grundy County at the Swiss Heritage Festival July 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring music, food and vendors at the Stoker-Stampfli Farm Museum on Swiss Colony Cemetery Road in Gruetli-Laager.

Arts and Ales

The sixth annual Arts and Ales festival will be held Sept. 19 from noon to 5 p.m. at Monterey Station in Cowan. Enjoy beer, art, music, vendors, fun mob art projects and more. VIP tickets are $40 each. Regular tickets are $25 and are available at the Artisan Depot Gallery located at 204 Cumberland St. in Cowan as well as other venues in the region.
