Republican Ladies

The Ladies’ Division of the Franklin County Republican Party will meet for a Dutch treat breakfast today at 10 a.m. at SUNRISE (The Breakfast Place) in Decherd.  Join in the fellowship, listen to plans for the Christmas party and ask elected officials any questions you might have.

F.C. Federated Republican Women

The Franklin County Federated Republican Women meet today at 11 a.m. at the Oasis Restaurant, 108 South College St., Winchester. All like-minded women are invited.

Faces of F.C. art show

Everyone is invited to the Faces of Franklin County art show Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Artisan Depot, 204 E. Cumberland St., Cowan. Enjoy a selection of art by Franklin County High School art students.

Free art event

Everyone is invited to a free art event, “Preserving Personhood through the Arts,” on Saturday at the South Jackson Civic Center, 404 S. Jackson St., Tullahoma. This event is presented by Alzheimer’s Tennessee and Southern Tennessee Regional Health System and will feature an evening of music, visual arts, stories and inspiration featuring Daniel C. Potts, M.D. Original photographs and harp music will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a presentation at 7 p.m.

Maj. Gen. Benjamin F. Cheatham Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 72 meets Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Oak Restaurant in Manchester. Richard Dix will discuss taking the oath. Meetings are open to the general public and all War Between the States buffs have a special invitation for the program.

FCHS Class of ‘61

The Franklin County High School Class of 1961 will hold its fifth Tuesday dinner at Skip’s Grill on Nov. 30 at 5:30 p.m. This is a Dutch treat affair with fellowship, stories and food.

Commodity food distribution

A drive-thru commodity food distribution will be held Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to noon at 1041 Wilton Circle, Winchester. Participants are asked to remain in their vehicles. Staff will place food in vehicles. Info, 931-967-1438.

The Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce will present the 65th annual Tullahoma Christmas Parade Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. in Tullahoma, featuring the theme, “A Cartoon Christmas.”

‘Winter in Winchester’ concert

The Winchester, TN Civic Choir invites everyone to their first Christmas concert, “Winter in Winchester,” on Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. at Winchester First United Methodist Church. A reception will be held at 6 p.m. in the gym.
