Blood drive

The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive Sept. 30 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Franklin County High School, 833 Bypass Road, Winchester.

Art show open house

The Franklin County Arts Guild invites all artists from the South Central Region (members of groups, guilds, councils and independents) to participate in a new art show opening at the Artisan Depot Gallery and Gift Shop during the Fall Heritage Festival weekend on Friday. The theme of the show is “Reflecting on the Self and Others.” The show will opens today and runs through Oct. 4. Everyone is invited to the reception and open house.

Fall Heritage Festival

Everyone is invited to the Fall Heritage Festival Friday through Sunday in downtown Cowan, featuring music, entertainment, arts and crafts, food and fireworks Friday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Featured musical entertainment will be provided by Stillwater Bluegrass, The Sims Family, Coco O’Connor, What?, The Different T’s and Bad Nayber. Walk to End Alzheimer’s

The 2020 Walk to End Alzheimer's for Tullahoma and Lynchburg will be held Saturday. This year’s event is everywhere, on every sidewalk, track, walking trail, online, on your street and in your community.  Register at act.alz.org and download the Walk to End Alzheimer’s app to track your steps and receive messages of support along the way.
