Maundy Thursday video service
The various Cowan churches will forgo a shared Maundy Thursday gathering this year. In its place, Rev. Pittenger will share a video sermon about the Last Supper. The video will be posted at www.cowanchurches.org and on Facebook.com/cowanchurches.

The various Cowan churches will gather at St. Agnes’ Episcopal Church Friday at 5 p.m. for Good Friday service.

Easter sunrise service is Sunday at 6:30 a.m. at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery.

Easter Service
Decherd Church of God, 1300 W. Market St., will feature Grammy and Dove award winner Russ Taff. Children’s church will perform an Easter show. Senior Pastor Dr. Don Baker will bring a special Easter message. Sunday school, 10 a.m. Worship service, 11 a.m.

Free Zoom prayer retreat
Everyone is welcome to join in a free Zoom prayer retreat workshop April 17 from 9-11 a.m. Participants will enjoy an unstructured conversation about the journey and the practice of centering prayer. It is open to the curious beginner, the experienced practitioner and those in between.
