Clothing & more giveaway

Clothing and more giveaway Friday from 3-6 p.m. and Saturday starting at 9 a.m. at Agape Ministries, 35 S. Porter St., Winchester. Everyone is welcome.

Singing

Everyone is invited to a gospel singing at Hardee’s in Decherd Saturday at 6 p.m. featuring Glenn Damron and Friends.

Dec. 15

Christmas program

Join in at Morton Memorial UMC Sunday at 11 a.m. to hear from Luke 1:26-35.  The church is located at 322 W. Main St. in Monteagle. Everyone is welcome to their traditional Christmas program Sunday at 5 p.m. featuring Appalachian and Southern spiritual music, storytelling and instrumental performances. Choir cantata & Christmas party

Cowan First Baptist Church, 316 Cumberland St. West, will present their choir cantata and church-wide Christmas party Sunday at 6:15 p.m.

Unitarian Universalist

Christmas program & dinner

Abundant Life Church, 3310 Cowan Hwy., Winchester will present their youth Christmas performance and Christmas dinner Dec. 22 at 10:30 a.m. followed by lunch. Bring a friend and celebrate the birth of our Savior.

Christmas service & reception

New Creation Ministries, 205 S. Sycamore St. in Cowan, will hold their Christmas service and reception Dec. 22 at 4 p.m. with a candlelight service followed by refreshments. All are welcome.

Cowan First Baptist Church, 316 Cumberland St. West, will hold a candlelight communion service Dec. 22 at 6 p.m. All are welcome.

Dec. 24

Christmas Eve service

St. Agnes’ Episcopal Church, 105 England St. E., Cowan, will celebrate The Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord with a traditional evening service Dec. 24 at 4 p.m. followed by the Father Werlein Memorial Christmas reception in the parish hall. All are welcome.

Candlelight service

Cowan Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 206 Cowan St. West, Cowan, will hold their Christmas Eve Communion service Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. All are welcome.

Christmas Eve Communion

Goshen Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1262 Williams Cove Road, Winchester, will hold their Christmas Eve Communion service Dec. 24 at 8 p.m. All are welcome.

Dec. 24 & 25

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day services

First United Church, UCC, will host Christmas Eve service with communion Dec. 24 at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary at 4099 Owl Hollow Road, Belvidere. Christmas Day service will be held Dec. 25 at 11 a.m. with a celebration of worship and thanksgiving for the gift of Jesus to the world through song, scripture and a Christmas message. Pastor Jan Whiteman welcomes everyone to come as they are.
