Chili supper benefit

A chili supper benefit will be held at Wilder Chapel Congregational Methodist Church, 1558 Wilder Chapel Road, Decherd, on Saturday starting at 5 p.m. for Derek and Miranda Hill whose baby is undergoing extensive medical care. Plates include chili, choice of sandwich, crackers and drink for $10. Desserts will be available to purchase.

Pastor John K. Harris, Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church, 918 S. Shepherd St., Winchester, invites everyone to worship service Sunday at 11 a.m. All are welcome.

Unitarian Universalist

Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma, 3536 New Manchester Hwy., Tullahoma, has resumed in-person services Sunday at 10 a.m. Robin Dunn’s talk is titled “Lessons from a Salamander.” Masks are required. The service will be followed by refreshments and a discussion. All are welcome. Tullahoma Sangha

Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, meets Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma, 3536 New Manchester Hwy., Tullahoma.  The service will consist of zazen (meditation), a short lesson and discussion.   Newcomers are welcome. Food distribution

Christ the King Anglican Church, 1231 Cumberland St., Decherd, in association with Feed America First, will distribute food and other groceries to those in need in the community on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning Jan. 22 at 9 a.m. Please remain in the vehicle once in the church parking lot.
