July 17

Free groceries

Christ the King Anglican Church, 1231 Cumberland St., Decherd, in association with Feed America First, will distribute food and groceries to those in need in the community on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday. Everyone is asked to remain in their cars.

VBS

Vacation Bible School will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Cowan Church of Christ with classes for all ages.            

Singing

A gospel singing will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. at Hardee’s, 1600 Dinah Shore Blvd., Winchester, featuring Mary Bean Singers and Not Ashamed.

July 18

Singing

A singing will be held Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Huntland Missionary Baptist Church, 306 Alabama St., Huntland. The Alabama Crossmen will perform. Pastor Bruce Shockley invites everyone.

VBS

Wonder World Fun Fest Vacation Bible School will be held Monday through Wednesday from 6-8:30 p.m. for ages 5-17 years at Calvary Baptist Church, 112 Sipes St., Winchester. For information, call 931-691-3511.

A gospel singing will be held July 24 at 6 p.m. at Hardee’s, 1600 Dinah Shore Blvd., Winchester, featuring Christianaires and Journey Home.

100th General Assembly

The Church of God of the Union Assembly, Inc. will hold its 100th annual General Assembly July 30-31 and Aug. 1 at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge. Friends and family are urged to join in to celebrate 100 years of continuous ministry. For more information, visit Thechurchofgodua.net.
