Oct. 9

Food distribution

Morton Memorial Church will hold its monthly curbside food distribution Saturday from 8-10 a.m. at 322 West Main St. in Monteagle. Drivers should enter from behind the church. Volunteers will help load if needed.

Oct. 10-12

Fall revival and homecoming

Everyone is invited to fall revival and homecoming services Sunday through Tuesday at Harris Chapel United Methodist Church, 625 Harris Chapel Road in the Winchester Springs community just off Hwy. 130. Revival services will be preceded by a potluck supper at 5:30 p.m. Services begin at 6:30 p.m. with different speakers each night including: Rev. Ann Hatcher on Sunday; Whitney Mitchell on Monday; and Blake Stephens on Tuesday. The Civic Choir will perform Sunday. Monday and Tuesday services will include special singing.

Oct. 17

Blessing of the Animals

All are welcome to a pet blessing in celebration of St. Francis of Assisi on Oct. 17 at 4 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Winchester. The service will take place in the courtyard behind the Parish Hall. Cats, dogs and other pets are welcome. Treats will be provided.

Harvest funfest

Camp Rain, 626 Bennett Cemetery Road, will hold a harvest funfest on Oct. 30 from 3-6 p.m. featuring food and drink, candy, cotton candy, candy apples and games.
