Revival

Revival services continue tonight at 7 p.m. at Way of the Cross Baptist Church, 1340 Dinah Shore Blvd., Winchester, with Evangelist Brother Tony King. Special singing will be presented. All are welcome.

Oct. 10

Food distribution

Morton Memorial United Methodist Church, 322 W. Main St., Monteagle, will hold their monthly curbside food distribution for all in need on Saturday from 8-10 a.m. Drivers should enter the line from behind the church where they will be directed to the loading area. Please wear a mask and remain in your vehicle. Volunteers will assist if needed. All are welcome. If this is your first visit, you will be asked to fill out a short form. This service is made possible in large part by support from the Monteagle-Sewanee Rotary Club’s Hunger Walk, which is going on this week and relies on almost 50 volunteers, church and community. If you would like to help, arrive at the fellowship center by 7:30 a.m. and park across Hwy. 41 in the field beside the car wash.

St. Thomas Medical Mobile Unit

The St. Thomas Medical Mobile Unit will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to provide primary care and flu shots (high dose for seniors will not be available this month). All in need are welcome. The Unit is funded by the South Cumberland Community Fund and is located at Morton Memorial UMC, 322 W. Main St., Monteagle.

Morton Memorial UMC

Worship with Morton Memorial United Methodist Church Sunday on the lawn (weather permitting). During the pandemic, Morton Memorial has suspended worship in the sanctuary but is working actively to have a safe means of worshiping in person. Those joining in worship should bring lawn chairs and wear a mask. The weekly service is also available through Morton’s webpage and Facebook. Oct. 14

Zen Buddhist meditation/study

Beginning Wednesday, the Tullahoma Sangha, a Zen Buddhist meditation and study group, resumes meeting each Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tullahoma.  The service will consist of zazen (meditation), a short lesson, and discussion.   Newcomers are welcome and may call ahead for a short orientation at 5:45 p.m. Face masks are required. Grocery/food distribution

All in need are welcome to attend a grocery/food distribution Oct. 17, beginning at 9 a.m. at Christ the King Anglican Church, 1231 Cumberland St., Decherd, in association with Feed America First.  Distribution will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please do not get out of your vehicle once in the parking lot.

Christ the King Anglican Church

Christ the King Anglican Church has worship services Sundays at 9 a.m.  Social distancing, wearing of masks, and use of hand sanitizer is encouraged. Masks and sanitizer will be available. The service will be streamed on Facebook Live as well.

Abundant Life Assembly of God

Sunday services have resumed at Abundant Life Assembly of God at 10:30 a.m. with a number of precautionary measures in place. Small group gatherings and other ministries are also available. Visit www.abundantlifewin.org.

New Creation Ministries

Cowan First Baptist
