Grocery/food distribution

A grocery and food distribution will be held for all in need Sept. 19 starting at 9 a.m. at Christ the King Anglican Church, 1231 Cumberland St., Decherd, in association with Feed America First. Distribution will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please do not get out of your vehicle once in the church parking lot.

Christ the King Anglican Church

Christ the King Anglican Church has worship services Sundays at 9 a.m.  Social distancing, wearing of masks, and use of hand sanitizer is encouraged.  Masks and sanitizer will be available. The service will continue to be streamed on Facebook Live as well.

Abundant Life Assembly of God

Sunday services have resumed at Abundant Life Assembly of God at 10:30 a.m. with a number of precautionary measures in place. Small group gatherings and other ministries are also available. Visit www.abundantlifewin.org.

New Hope Church of God in Christ

Services at New Hope Church of God in Christ will resume on a date to be announced.

New Creation Ministries

Everyone is invited to join in for worship at New Creation Ministries on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the historic Rayburn Chapel. www.rayburnchapel.org

Cowan First Baptist

Cowan First Baptist Church, 316 Cumberland St. W., Cowan, has resumed services. Sunday school classes, including children’s classes, have resumed at 9:15 a.m. Worship service follows at 10:25 a.m. Bible study is at 6 p.m. Videos of services are also posted on the church’s Facebook page. St. Agnes’ Episcopal

Sunday services have resumed at St. Agnes’ Episcopal Church at 11 a.m. Sunday school and coffee hour will resume on a future date to be announced. Also connect through the church’s website at www.saintagnescowan.org.

Goshen Cumberland Presbyterian Church

Cowan Fellowship Church

Services have resumed at 11 a.m. All are welcome. Rev. Cynthia Jolley Gray has begun a new ministry with the church.  www.cowanfellowship.org.

VBS boot camp

Vacation Bible School at Donaldson Grove Baptist Church has been canceled until further notice due to the ongoing pandemic.  Check out their Facebook page or website at www.donaldsongrove.org.

Morton Memorial UMC

During the pandemic, Morton Memorial United Methodist Church has suspended worship in the sanctuary but makes the weekly service available through Morton’s web page and Facebook.
