The Grundy County Swiss Historical Society is requesting vendors for the Annual Swiss Celebration scheduled for July 27 at the Stoker-Stampfli Farm Museum in Gruetli-Laager.

This year celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Swiss colony in Gruetli. Activities at the event will include music and food including bratwursts, sauerkraut, burgers, barbecue, Swiss cookies and other bakery goodies.

There will be woodworking items and toys. Other plans include wagon rides, bounce houses and wine and cheese tastings.

If you have any of the following talents, you are welcome to share them: Dutch oven cooking, stump cooking, grilled corn on the cob, basket weaving, candle making, wrought iron work, scythe demonstrations, shingle splitting, picture taking, face painting, and arts and crafts.
