The staff members of the Franklin County Library invite everyone to join in for their free programs offered in June.

Sign up for their summer reading program, “A Universe of Stories,” is ongoing for ages 2-19.

Children earn prizes for reading books. At the conclusion of the reading program, all participants will be invited to a free swim party at the Winchester Swimplex on July 24 from 6-8 p.m.

Join in the Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Math (STREAM) Lab every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 p.m.

Library Littles meets every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. for infants and toddlers.  

Storytime is held each Wednesday at 10 a.m. for the Pre-K crowd.

 Teen Action Group meets every Wednesday at 5 p.m. for all teens.

Turn the Page Book Club is for ages 6-10.

Books and Bites Book Club is for ages 11-18.

Bookies Book Club is for age 19 and older.

Tails of Friendship is held for children to read to a therapy dog.

Painting Friends is for all ages. Bring your own painting supplies.

A show called Janet’s Planet will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. for all ages.

Science Camp will be held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at the library.

Super summer shows are held each Wednesday afternoon in conjunction with the summer reading program and everyone is welcome to enjoy the free shows, whether a part of the reading program or not.

Jill Thatcher, ventriloquist, will present the next super summer show June 26 at 1:30 p.m.
