Freed-Hardeman University’s Alpha Chi Honor Society inducted 27 new members on Oct. 6.
Christina Hines, a fine arts and secondary education major from Winchester, was among those inductees.
To qualify, students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.9 or higher and represent academic excellence and character. Membership is through invitation-only to juniors and seniors.
Alpha Chi members have the opportunity to participate in academic and service projects as well as attend the Alpha Chi convention.
The convention gives students networking opportunities and a chance to present their research.
