Sewanee students build treehouses
The third grade classes at Sewanee Elementary used their engineering skills and imaginations to create their own treehouses. The project involved students designing and building their treehouses from common materials such as cardboard boxes and aluminum foil. Students were able to utilize their math, writing, and art skills during this fun project. Hudson Vaughan, third grader, works on his treehouse project. Bottom photos are Jane Shealy and
Kyla Kilgore with their projects.
