Planting a tree

Students at Sewanee Elementary School plant a redbud tree in front of the school as part of the Tigers Don't Leave Tracks program. The students were assisted in the planting by Dakota Meeks and William Shealy, superintendent of landscape planning and operations at the University of the South. Prior to the planting, Shealy talked to students about the essential environmental and economic roles of trees and taught students about the importance of caring for trees.
