Animal Harbor has a number of beautiful adoptable pets just waiting for their forever home.

This week, Animal Harbor is spotlighting Sienna and Chris Ellison.

Animal Harbor is a limited-admission animal shelter facility operated by members of the Franklin County Humane Society, a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.

Sienna is a 3-year-old chocolate lab mix who loves to play fetch and is always up for a good time.

Shelter manager Emily Holland said, “Sienna has a huge personality including a ton of spunk, energy and affection.”

Sienna was found abandoned and in bad health due to a flea infestation which caused an allergic reactions resulting in hair loss.

“A good Samaritan was able to foster her during her medical treatment and we are happy to report that she has regained her hair back and is doing much better,” Holland said. “Unfortunately, the shelter environment is very stressful for her and we would love to get her adopted as soon as possible.”

She is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm-negative, spayed and microchipped. To meet Sienna and start the adoption process, contact Animal Harbor.

Chris Ellison is part of a litter of seven orange tabby kittens.

“This group of kittens came into the shelter in dire health conditions, but are well mended now and looking for forever homes,” Holland said. “Chris, unfortunately had to grow up in the shelter, but we are confident that soon he will be a wonderful addition to any family in need of a loving companion. Chris is well socialized with people and cats and would do well in a variety of homes.”

Chris has all vaccinations, is FIV/FeLV negative and has been neutered and microchipped.

To find out how to start the adoption process for Chris or one of his remaining brothers, simply call or stop by Animal Harbor.
