LILLIE PEARL HILL

 HILL, Lillie Pearl, age 78 of Huntland, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System. She was born on March 20, 1941, in Skyline, Alabama to the late Walter and Lillie Mae (Morris) Woodall. Before her retirement, Lillie Pearl was employed as a sewing machine operator in the textile industry. She was a wonderful wife and mother and she so much enjoyed spending time with her family. Lillie Pearl enjoyed crocheting as well as reading and working word puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Bearl Woodall and siblings, Ray Woodall, Alta Mae Putman, Gordon Woodall, Earl Woodall and William Woodall. Lillie Pearl is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Dennie Hill of Huntland; daughters, Sheila Hill Rivera and Felita Betrice Hill, both of Huntland; grandson, Thomas James Litchford; and siblings, Louise (Henry) Parker of Skyline, Alabama, Faye Woodall Meny of Scottsboro, Alabama, Benton Woodall of Skyline, Alabama and W.R. FAYE VANDYGRIFF

 VANDYGRIFF, Faye Paulette, age 75, of Winchester passed away on Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Winchester. She was born on Jan. 31, 1944, to the late Hubert Clifford and Otha Pauline Reece Hall. She was an avid University of Tennessee Volunteers fan. Mrs. Vandygriff lived to treat others as she wanted to be treated. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Carlton Vandygriff Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Vikki (Brian) Vandygriff Hill of Decherd and Carla (Jeremy) Vandygriff Jackson of Murfreesboro and grandchildren, Abby Jackson, Rachel Jackson and Lance Hill.  HATCHETT, Donna Gay, age 81 of Tullahoma, passed away on Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Jackson County, Alabama on Sept. 5, 1938. A loving, devoted homemaker, she enjoyed being at home and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Donna was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church of Jesus in Tullahoma. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Hill; mother, Mattie Hill Cook; step-father, George Cook; and siblings, Nolan Hill, Roland Hill and Robert Lee Hill. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Dan Hatchett of Tullahoma; children, Ricky J. Hatchett of Tullahoma, Marty D. Hatchett of Tullahoma, and Greta (Rick) Finney of Estill Spring; grandchildren, Daniel H. Finney and Lauren E. Finney; triplet brothers, Bennie Hill of Huntland and Dennie (Pearl) Hill of Huntland; sisters-in-law, Vivian Hill and Lucille Hill Rutland; and many nieces and nephews. ROBERT FELTON

 FELTON, Robert “Bobby” Eugene, age 89 of Winchester, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, at Southern Manor Assisted Living. He was born in Doyle, Tennessee on Nov. 15, 1930, to the late John Leslie and Willie Margaret (Haston) Felton. Bobby served in the United States Army and was in the Korean War. Before his retirement, Bobby was employed as a computer operator at AEDC. He was a member of the Winchester Church of Christ. When he was able, Bobby enjoyed spending time on the family farm. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Mitchell and Emma C. (Lowery) Felton; great-grandparents, Joseph Berry and Druscilla (Mitchell) Felton; and siblings, John Thames Felton, James Lamar Felton and Martha Josephine Felton Evans. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mary Ann Felton; son, Victor H. (Debbie) Felton; grandson, Dallas (Jenny) Eugene Felton; and great-grandsons, Hunter Ethan Felton, Houston Miles Felton and Parker Chase Felton. JAQUELINE HAULDREN

 HAULDREN, Jaqueline “Jackay” Kay Cruickshank Westbrook, loving wife, great mother and grandmother, passed from this life on Monday Nov. 25, 2019, in Manchester at the age of 79. Jackay was born July 14, 1940, in Stockton, California to John “Jack” and Katherine Lucht Cruickshank, both of whom preceded her in death. She married and moved to Athens, Georgia in 1957, where she worked and raised four children. In 1974, she married Ken Hauldren. They moved to Wisconsin in 1977, where she worked for Farm Credit Services from 1980 to 1993. Following her retirement from Farm Credit Services she and her husband settled in Winchester. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, nature and traveling. She was a very gifted and talented artist, a champion of the underdog, an animal lover and a very generous supporter of many charities. Mrs. Hauldren is survived by her husband of 45 years, Kenneth Malcomb Hauldren of Winchester; children and step-children, Gwen (Kenneth Barber) Westbrook of Athens, Georgia, Buck Westbrook of Lena, Wisconsin, Lynn (Tim) Lutz of Marshfield, Wisconsin, Lisa (Joe) Hills of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Polly (Darrell) Royer of Houston, Texas, Kenneth (Pat) Hauldren Jr. of Grand Prairie, Texas and Donna Hauldren of Orange, Texas; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Watson-North Funeral Home located at 405 Sharp Springs Road, Winchester, on Friday Dec. 6, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Roy B. MYRTLE BRADFORD

 BRADFORD, Myrtle Dyer (Morris), age 85 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, at Elk River Health and Rehab. Mrs. Bradford was born April 28, 1934, to the late Leonard Hobson and Lena Darnell Dyer. She was employed for many years as secretary for the Winchester Church of Christ and was a member of the Decherd Church of Christ. In her free time she could be found coloring, sewing and working on cross stitching or out bird watching and fishing. She loved to watch westerns or the Game Show Network. She will always be remembered as being a strong willed woman who loved the Lord and her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill N. Morris and J.D. Bradford; sisters, Elizabeth and Erma; brothers, James and Lloyd; and grandson, Nathan.  RENEGAR, Hilda Dowd, age 89 of Winchester passed away on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at Elk River Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 3, 1930, to the late Dennis and Teria Wigginton. Hilda was known for her love of music and learned to play piano at an early age. She was an accomplished pianist. She retired from the Decatur City School system where she had multiple jobs over the years. She was a member of the Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ralph Dowd and husband of 10 years, Bill Renegar; children, Tony Dowd, Anna Fagan and Terry Dowd; grandchildren, Chris Moore and Amber Alexander; brothers, Hafford Hammett, Howard Hammett and Travis Wigginton; and sisters, Leota Powers, Letra Smith and Mable Hannah.  GOSSETT, William Browder, age 76 of Decherd, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at STRHS-Winchester. He was born on June 25, 1943, in Stevenson, Alabama to the late William David Gossett and Beulah Irene Stills Gossett. He was employed for 35 years at Worth Sporting Goods in Tullahoma and was a member of the Mission Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed farming, coon hunting, watching WWE and playing practical jokes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Viola Luttrell and a brother, Billy Gossett. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on Nov. 21, 1967, to the late Eddie Joe Sons and Paulette Garner Bohanan. A dedicated homemaker, she enjoyed sewing and family gatherings and was an avid Alabama football fan. Beverly was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Allison Sells. FRED BURT

 BURT, Fred Allen, age 71 of Winchester, passed away on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at his residence.  A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on Jan. 5, 1948, to the late Fred Jr. and Lucille Morris Burt.  Fred was the owner of Valley Mini-Storage and was a machinist for AVCO and Cleveland Pneumatic and a contractor until his retirement. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and home building, but most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. Fred was a member of the Winchester Masonic Lodge 158, a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite and a member of the Al Menah Shrine. He attended the Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Burt Shelley.  He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Catherine Earle Burt of Winchester; daughter, Tammy (Gary) Langston of Estill Springs; son, Jon (Keshia) Burt of Winchester; sisters, Bobbye Joyce (Don) Cox of Winchester, Freida (Charles) Money of Cowan and Elizabeth Westbrook of Murfreesboro; brother-in-law, Mally Shelley of Decatur, Alabama; grandson, Harley Burt of Chattanooga; granddaughter, Madelyn Grae Burt of Winchester; and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation was held on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester.  Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home chapel with Oren Huffman officiating. JAMES FRANKLIN

 FRANKLIN, James “Jim” Claude, age 72 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System. Jim was born in Fayetteville on Dec. 11, 1946, to the late James Marvin and Juell Lois (Locker) Franklin.  He was a 1964 graduate of Franklin County High School and a 1969 graduate of Tennessee Tech University.  Jim was the owner and operator of Jim Franklin Chevrolet from 1969 to 1996 and of Franklin Cars from 1996 to 2015 when he retired.  He served many years as a Winchester City councilman.  In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his son, James Flint Franklin.  Jim is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Alana Acklen Franklin of Winchester; children, Faith Ann Franklin (Mark) Hall of Estill Springs, Foresa (Eric) Holt of Winchester, Fhebe Franklin Lane of Austin, Texas, Farrah (Matt) Thomsen of Cookeville and Fhilip (Whitney) Franklin of Winchester; sister, Kay (Fred) Wyatt of Brentwood; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation was held on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, at 3:30 p.m. in the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home chapel with Rev.  SIMS, Bobby, age 65 of Winchester, passed away on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at his residence. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on Oct. 22, 1954, to the late Warnie and Alma Frances Sanders Sims. Mr. Sims was employed for many years as a carpenter. He greatly enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his great-grandchildren. Mr. Sims was a fun, loving, strong-minded and outspoken person. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Adam Sims; sister, Betty Faye Clark; and great grandson, Baby Fletcher.
