BURGRAFF, Barbara Foshee, age 73, of Estill Springs, Tennessee, departed this life on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, losing a brief battle with cancer. Ms. Burgraff was employed at several different places and had many different types of work. The one occupation she enjoyed telling her family and friends about was being a coal miner in West Virginia. Her true love was her Lord and she enjoyed working at her church, Grace Community Church in Estill Springs, where she “wore many hats.” She did the secretarial work, the sound system and organized the church activities. She also enjoyed working outdoors and gardening. She will be remembered as a loving, sweet, dear, lady who will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Burgraff Sr., on Dec. 31, of 2020, her father, E.R. Foshee, and sister, Brenda Kendrick. She is survived by her sons, Rodney Burgraff Jr. and wife, Missie and Jon Burgraff, all of Decherd; step-son, Brent Burgraff of Kentucky; mother, Dorothy Foshee of Estill Springs; sister, Donna Testerman and husband, Larry of Branson, Missouri; brother, Chuck Foshee and wife, Marsha of Sparta, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tayrn, Macy, Tessa, Knox, and Braelyn Burgraff; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, from 5-8 p.m. in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services in Estill Springs. Services are scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Pastor Rodney Burgraff Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd. Arrangements by Grant Funeral Services.
