BOBBY PINKLETON JR.
PINKLETON, Bobby Joe Jr., age 49, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, departed this life suddenly on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Pinkleton was born in Rome, Georgia, on March 3, 1971, to Bobby Joe Pinkleton Sr. and Diane Brandon Pinkleton Humphries. Mr. Pinkleton was of the Baptist faith. He was a 1989 graduate of Franklin County High School. After High School, Mr. Pinkleton joined the Navy, serving his country during the Gulf War. After his tour of duty he returned home. He was employed for several years as a manager for L. & H. Distributing in Tullahoma, before becoming disabled. Mr. Pinkleton loved to play golf. He was an avid U.T. football fan and Tennessee Titans fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be remembered for his ability to always make people laugh. Mr. Pinkleton was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Christine Brandon and paternal grandparents, James and Gladys Pinkleton. He is survived by his wife, Spring Pinkleton of Winchester; daughter, Karter Pinkleton of Estill Springs; mother, Diane Pinkleton Humphries and husband, Ed of Normandy, Tennessee; father, Bobby Pinkleton Sr. and wife, Drenda of Rogers, Arkansas; brother, Bryan Pinkleton of Chicago, Illinois; and granddaughter, Karli Branch. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at noon at Grant Funeral Services in Estill Springs. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Jason Curtis officiating. Interment will follow in the Rogers Cemetery in the Winchester Springs Community, with military honors bestowed. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks are required to attend the services.
