Charles Kinslow


 KINSLOW, Charles L., age 86, of Belvidere, Tennessee, passed Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, at Southern TN Medical Center. He is the son of the late Sandy and Martha Rene Kinslow. He was a member of the Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, where he served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and a member of the choir. Charles became a Mason in 1965 and joined Arunah Lodge #132 in Winchester, Tennessee, and remained a member of Arunah to this day. He has served as Past Master of Arunah Lodge#132; Past Commander-in-Chief of the Tullahoma Consistory #185; Past Potentate of Hella Temple #105 Nashville, TN; C.C.F.C. of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, State of TN; Deputy of the Orient, State of Tennessee. He was a member of the NAACP and the VFW (Veteran of Foreign Wars). He was preceded in death by his wife, Lyvonia Kinslow; son, Clifford A. Conrad Jr; and daughter, Lynn Kinslow Moss. He is survived by his daughter, Laurissa (Leon) Garlington of Antioch; four grandchildren, Allen Kinslow, Anthony Moss II, Weldon and Kenyon Garlington; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Leroy (Glynda) Kinslow of Winchester, Elder Sandy Ray (Eula) Kinslow Sr. of Huntland, and Earstin (Nena) Kinslow of Winchester; three sisters, Brenda Cunningham of St. Louis, Missouri, Sharon (Anthony) Buck of Fayetteville, Georgia and Rita Kinslow of St. Louis, Missouri; brother-in-law, Edd (Valerie) Simmons of Estill Springs; nine sisters-in-law, Ruby Kinslow of Decherd, Theresa Kinslow of Winchester, Charoline Simmons of Decherd, Mary Ann Greer, Lena Baker, Alvilder Simmons, Henrietta Staten, all of Winchester, Ela (John) Powell of Brentwood, and Yvonne Heard of Nashville. Walk thru visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. at J.A. Welton and Son Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be conducted by J.A. Welton and Son Funeral Home.
