Rodney Burgraff Sr.


 BURGRAFF, Rodney Lee “Rocky,” Sr., age 70, of Estill Springs, Tennessee, departed this life on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, at STRHS-Winchester, following a brief illness. Mr. Burgraff was born in North Matewan, West Virginia, on Dec. 6, 1950, to the late Billy and Betty Ammons Burgraff. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Burgraff was called into the Ministry of the Lord in 1972. He was the pastor of Grace Community Church in Estill Springs. Mr. Burgraff enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was able. He will be remembered for his big heart and always helping where there was need. He was a sweet person. In addition to his parents, Mr. Burgraff was preceded in death by his sisters, Sherry McCallister and Pam Dean. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Burgraff of Estill Springs; sons, Rocky Burgraff Jr. and wife, Missie, Jon Burgraff, of Decherd, and Brent Burgraff of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Tayrn, Macy, Tessa and Knox Burgraff; three great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd Burgraff and wife, Marlene of Estill Springs; and sisters, Barbara Wright of Manchester and Tina Pinion and husband, Terry of Kentucky. Visitation was held Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, from 5-8 p.m. in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services in Estill Springs. Services were conducted Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Rev. Rocky Burgraff Jr. officiating. Interment was in Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd. Grant Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
