NORMA COUTTA

 COUTTA, Norma Geraldine, age 86, of Winchester, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A native of Winchester, she was born on May 15, 1935, to the late J.B. and Ozelle Holman Arnold. She was a devoted homemaker, member of the New Center Grove Church of Christ and a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Geraldine was an avid gardener and would often be found in her greenhouse tending to her flowers and plants. She also raised all kinds of animals and loved to paint. Geraldine was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother who loved with all of her heart and never held a grudge toward anyone. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Coutta; siblings, Bud Arnold and Wilburn Arnold; son, Duane Coutta; and step-son, Larry Coutta. She is survived by her children, Tim (Anita) Coutta of Winchester, and Becky (Jim) Jacobs of Midway; step-children, Johnny (Jan) Coutta of Gainesville, Georgia, Jeannie Coutta of El Paso, Texas, and Phyllis Woodall of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren, Jenny (Dallas) Felton of Winchester, Jennifer (Alex) Arnold of Murfreesboro, Scott Coutta, Nichole (Blake) Stines, Ashley (Adam) Coutta, Amber-Leigh (Cage) Whittemore, Jerrikka Gifford and Summer Stines, all of Winchester, and Dennis (Lori) Jacobs, Carla (Josh) Green and Eliza Jacobs, all of Midway; step-grandsons, Micah Coutett and Greg (Amanda) Coutta; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Miles, Parker, Noah, Eli, Caleb, Carmen and Josie; siblings, Carter (Gail) Arnold of Clarksville, and Roy (Shelia) Arnold of Brentwood; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 5-8 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Byron Lawrence officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Garner Cemetery.
