KENNETH HAULDREN

Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. Kenneth Malcolm Hauldren, age 89 of Winchester. Mr. Hauldren passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020, at St. Thomas West in Nashville. Mr. Hauldren was a native of Sweetland, West Virginia. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy for 27 years, retiring in 1974, having achieved the rank of E-8. Following his military service, Mr. Hauldren started a second career with Land O’Lakes, retiring in 1993. After his retirement from Land O’Lakes, Mr. Hauldren and his wife made their home in Winchester where he took up fishing and woodworking as his hobbies. He designed and built an array of items ranging from outdoor birdfeeders to flag cases. Mr. Hauldren was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Jacqueline Hauldren and daughter, Donna Gay Hauldren. He is survived by his daughters, Ora Laverne “Polly” (Darrel) Hauldren Royer of Fulshear, Texas, Gwen K. Westbrook of Atlanta, Georgia, Gina “Lynn” Lutz of Marshfield, Wisconsin and Lisa Robyn Hills of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; sons, Kenneth Malcolm Hauldren (Patricia) of Grand Prarie, Texas, and Buck Westbrook of Lena Wisconsin; sisters, Emma Lee May of Palm Coast, Florida, Louise Stitt of Gallipolis, Ohio and Elaine Ballard of Ashville, North Carolina; and brother, John Hauldren of Gallipolis, Ohio. The family received friends at Watson-North Funeral Home on Friday, June 19, 2020, from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service was conducted from the Roy B. Watson Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 10 a.m. with Conrad Westbrook officiating. Interment followed in the Watson-North Memorial Park in Winchester with full military honors bestowed. Friends and family served as pallbearers.
