GASS, Mose Lemuel, age 70, of Cowan, Tennessee, passed from this life on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on Aug. 10, 1951, in Winchester, to the late Jesse Lee and JoAnn Gass. Mose enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends. He loved his animals, especially his beloved dog, Lola. Mose loved the outdoors and was an Eagle Scout. He worked as a draftsman at Trane in Clarksville for over 10 years, then as an electrician until he retired. He will be remembered as being a loving husband, brother, son, uncle and friend. He was always the life of the party and would dance the night away. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Gass, and beloved dog, Lola. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Hazel Evans Gass; brother, Gary (Diane) Gass of Cowan; sister-in-law, Barbara Lamb Gass of Belvidere; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, from 5-8 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Winchester. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Coutta officiating. Interment followed in the Cowan Montgomery Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were, Brandon Evans, Kelly Gass, Jesse Speck, Josh Evans, Damon Walker and Lester Evans serving as pallbearers.
